That would be more about having a gun in every room


That is in a safe instead of having a safe in every room just to store two guns.

I'm not sure I understand the thought behind two safes unless the goal is to always have a firearm close, no matter where you are in the house. But if that is what you want, two guns and two safes doesn't accomplish that very well unless you live in a 350 SQ ft apartment.

I personally only have one safe. But I've also got a really effective melee weapon in every room. And those don't need to be in a safe. And they don't jam. And they don't blow out your hearing if you use them without hearing protection. And they don't run out of ammo. And they don't accidentally kill bystanders across the street if you miss.

Basically, my guns are for carry and for home defense in the event of mobs, civil unrest, or the overall collapse of civilization. For a simple intruder, I would pick a melee weapon.
